its getting a bit scary isn't it

even I turned to my husband last week and said - should we be getting worried about this? because I never worry about anything. I am an absolute true blue optimist. I don't so much worry for us, but for our kids.

@cat - it wouldn't be unreasonable to worry for your kids and/or the millions who have lost and will lose their jobs.
I think it is hilarious the lengths that the politicians are going to to avoid saying the word recession. Doesn't matter whether they vocalise it or not, it is what it is ...painful. I still suspect though that the rich get richer and the poor will just get poorer.
mainly my daughter - she has worked in retail since leaving school and that seems to one of the areas that is going to suffer
@Flamingo - I'll go along with that. Some are holding to the textbook definition; when these quarterly stats are released, by that definition, the recession will be "official," oh joy!
@cat - depends, what line of retail is she in?
Sorry you did not get in after so much hard work.
The recession discount, I heard of an Oregon brew, the Bailout Bitter. It is a dollar cheaper than the rest of the brews of course.
@LOIL - That's a good name for that coffee.
clothes - women and men
@cat - ah. unless it's discount or high-end clothing, could be hit ...
it is a beer! Even better!
@LOIL - a beer! even better!
Haha! I thought so too!
