I've no title, just boiling blood

Yes, the airconditioning is another thing that puts me off movie theatres. I just about need to take a blanket to put over my knees they have it set so cold. And all those germs circulating through the system. nasty.

A dog walking group sounds fun. A few dog parks have sprung up not far from here and I love watching the dogs interact with each other - they are like kids going to a playgroup. Some play nicely with everyone, some are bullies and some shy away.

Stealing from charity is the lowest of the low.
@cat - Yeah, I've sat there shivering with a scarf around the neck and bundled under a jacket. And never go to a theater in flipflops! Brrrrrrr.
@Emjay - Yeah, one of the pits got a bit aggressive with another dog yesterday; fortunately it was a leash-required area (and the walkers were honoring that), otherwise it would've turned ugly (and not only because I happened to be between them when they went at it! - lol).

Stealing a contribution jar; sick, sick, sick. Strikes a bit close for me as I've a friend who I've known for many years, who is fighting breast cancer.

Waterbaby, I thought about having a jar for food bank donations at my yard sale. The food bank has a few in the office, I was going to borrow one. I thought I was going to be alone on Friday, and thought it would be too much temptation for someone so instead gave myself a silent percentage of my sales to go to the food bank. I was scared of being robbed in my own driveway.
Wow, the popcorn thing really gets to you! Does the sound of styrofoam bother you? That sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard for SIL, and I thought the sound of popcorn and styrofoam was similar.
@LOIL - In these times, it'd be foolish and an invitation to trouble to have exposed cash. Your plan of giving a percentage is safer and the donation stands a better chance of reaching its destination. Nah, styrofoam doesn't irk like popcorn, not similar in sound and people don't eat it. (It's not the sound of the popcorn, it's the sound of people eating it that's disgusting.)
@ExPat - I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Not your friend perhaps but someone's friend, mother, sister is a little poorer in help or support thanks to bad action of one man. I see pink - and red - thinking about it.
Oooh - not good to be stuck between two dogs going at each other. I have seen scars of people's hands/arms as a result of that! The park nearest me doesn't seem to have that leash requirement - or at least, if it does, no one is abiding by it!
@Emjay - "The park nearest me doesn't seem to have that leash requirement - or at least, if it does, no one is abiding by it!" Probably the latter. Happens a lot here too, though not so much at the said site, probably because there's a ton of dogs and the walkway parallels a very busy and potentially deadly road.
That is what I thought too, safer to have the cash hidden away. Outa Site Outa mind.
Hmmm.. I will listen next time I have popcorn.
